I found Zod Wallop the year I graduated college on a shelf at Borders. It opened my eyes to what books could be.
One year, I think 2002, I bought 10 copies and gave them to everyone as Christmas gifts.I have two copies and am scared that I might lose one because then I would only have one.

These haven’t been good years. Pretty much everything I’ve written is out of print. A production company, Skybound (the walking-dead-zombie-guys) optioned my novel, Résumé with Monsters, for a television series for 3 years and then bailed. The pandemic and a bad pilot written by a Hollywood screenwriter killed that. I live in Austin, one of the most expensive cities in America. I too am an aging white guy, impoverished, dumbfounded by the devastation. But: I wanted to thank you for this rave regarding Zod Wallop. I like everything I’ve written–the way parents tend to dote on all their children–but ZW is a favorite. Thanks.
