Some more food for thought –
Is our current public school day still the best way to organize the school day?
Should we think about a longer school year?
Can are schools change the way they operate so that they can better use what limited funding they are currently getting?
Are there too many regulations on schools? Ones that have taken the freedom to teach away from the teacher?
What if schools opened at 7am and closed at 7pm (and that is the teaching day)?
