My husband and I are both born and bred Okies. After 10 years, working as professional educators in Oklahoma, we are walking away and are not a bit sad about it. We are moving internationally to teach and already have jobs. These jobs include higher salary, paid housing and utilities, better insurance, etc. It’s time for Oklahoma educators to take a big stand for themselves and stop begging for help we aren’t going to get at home.
