Mary F. Saladde was already famous for 2 things. She owned Sallade & Co., Magic Mosquito Bite Cure & Insect Destroyer. She also had written a hit song, which spawned the yell “Yippee ki ya!”, her impression of a Chinese American boy being stung by a bee.
