I’ve been screamed ( yes, screamed ) at by parents during back to school night, harassed and insulted via email, and told they would “call the news” to report me. Yeah yeah. Let me guess, your child isn’t doing his homework, isn’t reading the books, claims I lose every thing he ever turned in, and participates very little in group activities or class discussion. My favorite: How dare you demand my child read a novel in an AP class. My 2nd favorite: You are a lazy teacher who fails my child. And they wonder why teachers look for other jobs.
