Even the chunk of Georgia&#039;s secession proclamation you posted pointed explicitly to the issue of states&#039; rights:

After all, if states&#039; rights was the agenda why did NO future seceding state decry the result of Dred Scott v. Sanford? I prevents a state&#039;s/territory&#039;s right to prevent the spread of slavery. Hmmm. ]]></description>
