					<description><![CDATA[&lt;strong&gt;Exactly true and well said&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of the reasons for the development of the &quot;modern&quot; high school with things like sports, journalism, yearbook, fine arts etc was the fact that students that attended high schools like this seemed to do better in life.   

And we have totally forgotten this.  I guess they didn&#039;t have a Bill Gates funded study to tell them they were doing it right.

					<description><![CDATA[&lt;strong&gt;I don&#039;t even know where to&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I don&#039;t even know where to start in praising this. Since I&#039;m a music teacher, I don&#039;t need to explain why I love it. I&#039;ve been preaching these things for years. 
Thank you for recognizing that I, too, am a &quot;real teacher&quot;, and that what I teach has value. Thank you for pointing out that students deserve to have their unique gifts celebrated and nurtured.
